Description Light brown silk chiffon dress with asymmetrical drape, label reads "Stavropoulos, New York, Athens," bias-cut, light brown silk chiffon dress with mock neck and single layer chiffon sleeves. Chiffon overlay starts at center front neck is attached to back drape at right side with hook-and-eye closure. (From Stavropoulos exhibit 2010, Kasey Bland)

Original catalog card: No date. Coffee silk chiffon, bias cut street length dress with flared skirt, stand-up rollover collar, long fitted sleeves, left back neck to left side waist zip. Drape attached to left shoulder and around to center front neck, then pulled to right side waist and hooked together, dress of three chiffon layers, plus drape, and full china silk lining except sleeves. Center back 51".
